Frequently Asked Questions
Will reordering change my file's quality?
No. We use pdf-lib's copyPages under the hood — pages are transferred as-is from the source document to a new document. No images are re-compressed, no fonts are re-embedded, and no rendering happens. The output is lossless.
Can I reorder and delete pages in one step?
Not with this tool — it requires the new order to include every page exactly once. For removing pages, use PDF Delete Pages first, then bring the cleaned PDF back here to reorder.
How does the text order field work?
Type a comma-separated list of page numbers or ranges — for example 3,1,2,4-end puts page 3 first, then page 1, then page 2, then pages 4 through the last. The input must reference all pages exactly once. Hit Apply or press Enter to sync the thumbnail grid.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
Only when you click "Apply New Order & Download" — and even then it's processed in memory and never written to disk. The buffer is discarded immediately after the response is sent. Thumbnails are generated entirely in your browser using pdf.js.
What are the page and file size limits?
Free: up to 50MB and 100 pages, 3 operations per session. Pro ($4.99/mo): up to 100MB, unlimited pages, unlimited operations. See Pro plans →
